Logo animation for MedGenA, the Austrian Network for Medical Genome Analysis.
Genome sequencing is a comprehensive method for analysing entire genomes. This information is instrumental in identifying inherited disorders, tracking disease outbreaks and characterising the mutations which drive cancer progression.
We designed the logo with five other members of our startup at university. A thorough research about the topic was conducted before designing the logo. The 8 stripes in two rows symbolise the form of genome sequencing.
There is one stripe with a different color (the corporate color of the institute), which can be any of the stripes- It means that a faulted genome can appear anywhere, and it is enough for an autoimmune disorder to develop.
My job was creating the animation.
